Turkey Trot

This morning we took an ATV ride to the top of our property and on the road we saw some big turkeys trotting ahead. When they spotted us they took off on a run.... we were unable to catch up with them. I barely caught them going up into the National Forest that joins our place....

















I took this picture after the sunset, about 4:30. In the background it shows the snowcapped Cabinet Mountains in Montana and it's also the view from our future home site...fingers crossed.
