Three Horses in Cocolalla

Today is burry cold! The wind chill is up and the horses are still standing out in the weather like nothing is wrong. We have two paints, Shine and No Name Uno (aka; Jane Doe), havent named her yet. She was an almost rescue horse. She was for sale because the owners were splitting up and couldn't afford to feed her and when we saw her the first time she had no water in her trough. She had ribs sticking out and looked emaciated. We took her home to Cocolalla and there she was met by our other horse Shine, a two year old spoiled boy. They had the usual "testing time" with the food and space issues but are now pasture buddies!

We also have an Arabian about six years old. He is black and gray, kinda jittery as most Arabians are. I haven't gotten to know him too well but plan to.
